Home Made or Hand Made?

Just a few words on one of my pet peeves! When i see crafts at craft fairs and in booth that say hand made and are done on a sewing machine—that is definetly not hand made.
I make quilts, lap quilts, doll quilts and these are al hand pieced and quilted. I think hand quilting has gone by the wayside. Quilting use to be a way to use up scraps instead of tossing them. It was a frugal way of waste not want not.
Home made to me is anything produced at home whether on machine or other wise. Dish towels with crocheted tops are home made but not hand made.
Hand made to me is produced without the use of a machine. Dish towels and dish cloths that are crocheted or knitted are hand made.
If I want something that looks like it might comes from a store, then I will buy it at the store.
I’m lucky that both my daughters are crafters and if they see something they like-ask theirselves if they can make it or create something that will dpo the same thing.
Enough of the soap box drama and on to something else.
It is gloomy, over cast day so good for crafting or curling up with a good book and a cup of coffee. Yep next to cooking and crafting is reading. Books can inform you or take you to amother place and time for a small price or for free from your library.
Enjoy this day that the Lord has made and God Bless.
